About the studio · Douglasville, GA

Come sit in the room where the noise falls away.

Sonelle is one quiet room in Douglasville, a pair of trained ears, and a stubborn belief that a company's best thinking deserves to sound like it. This is who we are and how we listen.

How Sonelle started

It began with a good conversation, badly recorded.

A founder had recorded an hour with her team — every idea worth hearing, buried under a humming fridge, a phone buzz, three people talking at once. She didn't need a bigger microphone. She needed someone to sit with the tape until the words came forward again.

That is still the whole job. We don't chase the loudest gear or the flashiest edit. We take raw rooms — Zoom exports, phone memos, four mics in a conference room — and we listen close, cut careful, and hand back something that sounds the way the moment felt.

“The best edit is the one no one notices — only that the show suddenly holds them.”

Sonelle stays small on purpose. Small enough that the person who plans your season is the person who masters the last episode, and remembers the way your host says her own name.

What we hold to

Three things we won't cut, even when the clock says to.

01

Silence is a tool.

A held breath, a beat before the answer — we protect the pauses that make a listener lean in, instead of scrubbing every gap flat.

02

The same ears, every week.

Your show never gets handed between strangers. The engineer who learns your sound in episode one is the one still shaping it in episode forty.

03

Plain about the money.

Per-episode and monthly work, invoiced after we deliver. No lock-in, no mystery line items — you always know what an episode costs before we open the files.

Inside the workflow

What a week with us sounds like

From the hour you send your raw files to the hour it lands on your host, an episode moves through the same unhurried path. Here's the shape of it, told in the order the sound travels.

Day 1 · morning

We open the tape

Every track imported, lined up, and listened through once, uninterrupted — before a single cut is made.

Days 2–3

We cut close

Ums lifted, cross-talk untangled, timing tightened — all without leaving a seam you can hear.

Day 4

We dress the sound

Beds, transitions and a scored intro give the show a shape you'd know with your eyes shut.

Day 5 · master

We set it at −16 LUFS

Mastered to a broadcast-clean loudness, chaptered and tagged, so it plays the same on earbuds as it does in a car.

Day 5 · delivery

We hand it back, ready

Delivered to your host or your inbox, notes answered — a finished episode you only have to press publish on.
